The Arms is a beautiful hotel, well maintained, in great shape, lovely staff and food and a nice room. The ONLY thing I would point out is that the tv channel options were limited and as my wife and I were fresh to the timezone it would have been nice to have some more channel choices when we couldn’t sleep.

Though I would love to see more of an effort to reduce waste/recycle/etc. such as recycling bins in rooms and energy efficient appliances and fixtures. In addition, there were minor maintenance needs that seem to be neglected (burned out bulbs, broken soap dispenser, loose toilet tissue dispenser). My wife tends towards OCD and even she found this property spotless. I’m an architect and built my own home and I found the workmanship in the home excellent. The couple who hosted us were delightful and the service and breakfast were great. We only had a short walk to a delightful pub to make our stay first rate.
