"We had an amazing overnight stay. The staff were very welcoming, informative and professional. We opted to have dinner in our room (private dining). This was definitely a very rememberable experience with a six course meal. The food for the whole trip was some of the nicest I had. The view from our room was breathtaking. I hightly recommended Ambassador Cruises in Ha Long Bay."
"Noisiest hotel I have stayed in ever.Outdoor market nearby sets up at 4.45 every morning, people shouting, cars snd bikes constantly hooting horns. The 3rd night the market set up was 3am.The single glazed windows that have broken locks and do not close properly do help help the noise.
Forget about the "Free Breakfast" fruit juice, limited fruit and eggs fried untill inedible with bread and butter served in a bleak cold restaurant.
The noise is allday long."

Draha Halong Hotel - Serenity, Charm and Nature - Preferred by Western Travelers
10/10 Excellent
"Staff were friendly, food was tasty and rooms were modern. The air con needed to be a bit more powerful or fixed but the fan they left in the room helped.
In a quiet area. Restaurant was good and a reasonable price. Also beer was the cheapest we had seen.
Forgot to take pics of the room. "
"We stayed only one night at Tru by Hilton but the experience was great. Excellent location, nice views of Ha Long, nice & clean rooms which look brand new. Highly recommended to anyone planning to stay on the mainland."
"The room was spacious and clean. I get the feeling this was once a beautiful hotel but is now dated and showing signs of neglect. The shower is a poor design that floods the bathroom. The cold water quit and we couldn’t flush the toilet. No restaurant.
The staff were very nice.
The price was reasonable. "
