"The cabin was very clean! We were there the second week of October and had no heat or air conditioning, so it was pretty hot during the day and cold at night. I also wish there were hooks in the bathroom to hang towels on. Be sure to bring your own soap because even the shampoo was a bar of soap and as a woman with long hair, it was virtually impossible to use. "Liked the room layout. Staff was nice. Room was clean."

"To be honest, we wanted to just stay in Saugatuck for one night after we landed in Grand Rapids before we headed on 31 to the tip of the mitten. Looking back I feel we would have been better off spending the night in a hotel that cost the same but better in Grand Rapids. "Nice hotel."

"Clean room"

"This place is awesome. The staff is probably the friendliest i have ever encountered. The rooms were very quaint and clean. I am very pleased that we stumbled upon the Maplewood. I would definitely stay here again."

"Perfect location in Allegan. Room was a great size and the private jacuzzi was a fun touch! Staff were helpful and friendly. Price was great especially for a last minute booking. Would stay here again!"

"We enjoyed our stay very much. We appreciated laying out by the pool, the beauty of the property, and the proximity to town."

"If you're looking for a place to stay that's walkable to the the restaurants and shops it is a wonderful location. David, the owner/host provided a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. The breakfast that was served was hearty, including breakfast casserole, fruit and juice/coffee.The menu changes each day, but it definitely will fill you up and was delicious and made with care. The stay was comfortable and appropriate for sleeping and rest after a day of exploring."

"The Inn was very nice and sets in a lovely area just across the street from the lake. There is a breakfast in the morning if scrambled eggs, sausages, oatmeal , cereal, fruit, toast and jams. There is coffee and juice in the morning."
