"The manager was wonderfully helpful. Unfortunately, the carpet held a lot of moisture and appeared dirty. The shower controls were difficult to use. It was a great loction to the ferry to Macinac Island."

"Took the family up north to Traverse City for the weekend to enjoy a little mini pre-school vacation. When I reserved the room, I upgraded for the "golf view" but the supposed golf view room we got on the 5th floor literally overlooked the parking lot, if I reserved a regular room obviously whatever but I paid an extra for the upgrade and after calling the front desk to complain and wasting 10-15 of going back and forth they finally moved us to the 14th floor with a way better view. Everything else about the hotel was good. Would I stay here again, maybe if I we took advantage of more of the amenities but we were out sight seeing most of the time and you're 15-20 mins from a lot of the places we ended up at in the downtownish area."

"Great location and great access to the beach. This is a newer hotel and it shows, it's very clean and well kept. I wasn't a fan of the coffee in the cafe but otherwise my stay was wonderful which is reflective in my overall 5 star rating."
