"My one significant issue was around checkout. I had specifically requested and was granted a 12pm checkout, understanding the hotel had other guests arriving the next day. Despite this, I started receiving repeated calls before 11:30am asking me to leave immediately. When I spoke with the receptionist on duty, I was told firmly that checkout was 11am and that it was “not possible” a late checkout had been granted, which felt like being told I was lying about a request I’d clearly made and had confirmed.
I’d encourage the hotel to improve communication between staff shifts so guests aren’t put in this position. The property itself has a lot going for it, but this experience took some shine off an otherwise strong stay."
