Very cool place. Loved the outdoor vibe. Also felt safe that gated. Room was up to date and had all the basics you need. Bonus was staff super nice and friendly! Easy shopping nearby. Wish there were a few more walkable restaurants but not hard to uber from.

I booked two nights at Mayumi to visit my son in LA. The reason I chose to stay here was price point and proximity to my son's apartment. I found this hotel to exceed my expectations. I can not speak as to wi-fi speed or reliability since this was not a business stay, however, when I did access it on my laptop, I experienced zero issues. The room was super clean and modern, sheets were crisp and white, bed was made perfectly and location was great. I felt safe and I found my room quiet, I never heard traffic, some voices occasionally from within the hotel, but nothing that was extreme or went on. Check-in was a breeze and friendly. I love that they offer a complimentary daily wine manager's wine hour and continental breakfast and the selection was ample to me as I tend to eat heavier later in the day. The coffee was actually very good imo and they had a selection of tea and juices too. I loved the common areas, very well thought out with a fire pit, group seating arrangements, the hanging chairs, the huge grill and eating area and bikes for use - amenities usually not found at other hotels so easily in one general spot. The only essential I needed and I forgot to pack was not found was lotion, otherwise, my boxes were checked! I would absolutely stay again; highly recommend.
