Beautiful apartment

The apartment was very nice, spacious and comfortable. Only reason for the 4 stars is the address is further from the beach then described in the ad. The building is very nice and the owners instructions were very detailed. If I am in the area I would love to stay again.

Great location

Our family spent six days at this unit in early November. We visited for a Chargers game and several tourist attractions. The location was incredibly convenient, and I would highly recommend it. The unit was clean and comfortable, making it a perfect fit for our family.

Definitely would stay here again

Great location in marina del rey. Place was spacious and had all the bells and whistles as far as accessories. I plan on coming back and staying here when i return to the area next summer.

Great marina del rey condo

Great clean roomy 2bedroom condo. Overlooking the pool on the balcony. Had everything I was looking for. Nice gym, pool, jacuzzi, and could walk to some very nice restaurants that were literally right there. Would describe this as a home away from home location with a vacation relaxed comfortable vibe. I plan on staying here when Im back in the area this summer. Definitely recommended!!!

Excellent apartment and location

Annika provided clear & thorough instructions for check in and parking. The unit was clean and as described. Annika was responsive and friendly before & during our stay. We enjoyed the secure garage parking and quiet atmosphere! As we were in town for the Rose Bowl, we didn’t have much time to take advantage of the gym/pool/hot tub, but observed each to be very nice & clean. We would definitely return!

Great Location for LA visit

We stayed in Marina Del Ray for 3 nights. It was a great location for visiting the sights of LA. Nice having space with 2 teens. Great communication from the owner with directions as it would have been confusing without. Only complaints were we wished there was more seating in the living room to fit the 4 of us comfortably and the master bed needs to be tightened. The bed was very wobbly. Otherwise great stay!

Convenient location

This was a good location for our sightseeing in the Los Angeles area. The host provided excellent instructions for accessing the unit. While the unit was clean, the kitchen was minimally stocked for anyone who wants to eat in, rather than enjoying the many nearby restaurants. We stayed over the weekend and there was a lot of noise from the hallway and the pool area until late into the night. It was noticeably quieter on Monday evening.

Great location in Marina Del Rey

This rental is all about location. Great location - you can walk down to the marina and to tons of shops and restaurants and there is a grocery store next door. The property itself needs some TLC. The couch was filthy as were the showers. Also note that the kitchen is bare bones. There wasn’t even a colander to drain pasta. May not be a big deal for some - but we had planned to cook so it wasn’t ideal. That said, it was spacious and the pool and hot tub in the building are a great bonus.

Location different than advertised

We booked this place because the ad shows that it was 3 blocks from the beach and on the beach side of the marina. After booking, the address I got in our confirmation matched the picture on the ad. The day of check in I received a text from the owner with directions to a different address. I asked why it was different and she stated “you used to pick up the keys at my brothers apartment “. So, things to know. The apartment is as pictured but the location is by the Ralphs grocery on the far side of the marina. There is no way to walk from the apartment to the green belt area or the marina. I tried to talk with the owner and VRBO about the discrepancy but did not get any help. The apartment itself and the pool area are nice and there is covered parking.

Easy stay

This location and check in process were really easy from LAX. Plenty of good places to eat near by. I’m super picky about beds and pillows and both were really comfortable and we all had great nights sleep. Would def consider staying here for future visits.

Difficult to access and stay in

Sparely furnished, but equipped with all the basics, showers can be a challenge with no "grab bars"....once you're in your on your own..saw more than one noticethat short term rentals and Air B&B are probhibited?

Beware! Address on receipt was switched to much less desirable address day before visit . Then, the owner was demeaning & Horrible when we called and asked for help locating numbered parking spot in multilevel underground parking lot. We saw a leasing office near parking lot and we suggested to see if they would guide us to the parking spot. We were then threatened verbally with a 300.00 charge if I talked to them and there would be "problems" with me renting the unit. There were a few dirty dishes in kitchen but no big deal. Next though the second evening we returned, and we received a note from the office in our door stating - Notice of "Statutory Notice to Enter the Dwelling Unit ". We did not feel SAFE that someone would enter the rental while we were there and did not feel owner was honest with us or leasing office. The letter stated: "When it is believed the Resident has abandoned or surrendered the premises".  We had to keep our packed luggage in our car the rest of the stay in case there were further issues with the building Mgmt. if we could not get back into the unit. Due to tours booked, we did not have time to move to a hotel our last evening. Lastly, we asked for a late check-out for all the issues we had been going through, owner was absolutely horrible and demeaning. We stopped communication, check-ed out on time, made sure unit was in perfect condition, left and contacted VRBO about commitment to quality statement. Whole experience tainted our vacation.

Communication with the property owner was poor. I was within three hours of getting to the property check-in and wasn’t able to reach the owner how to get inside. Vrbo had to get involved and I was told by Vrbo they weee canceling the booking and I would get a refund and for me to find a hotel. While I was looking for a hotel Vrbo called and was able to reach the owner and I could continue the stay. This was very stressful as I was driving from the Bay Area and had to pull over to try and resolve this
