I had a pleasant stay compared to other similar priced motels. Quality was good for the price you pay, and its not in the ghetto like other motels for the same price.

The room itself is very clean and nice looking, the owners in the front desk are very nice and friendly easy to talk too. Its just a place where im able to feel at peace and relax. Everything about it,is great :) you will definitely not regret staying here

Sunset motel not Hollywood

Well the sunset is the same motel set up you see like many others. What i cant figure outis how they so much. No frills staff is quick to kick you out.

There was nowhere to hang clothes. There was no dresser into which to put clothes. The property was in an industrial portion of town, on a noisy street.

40 units, each door opens to parking lot. 4 units open to repair crews each am. Our first room had no heat. They gave us a bigger room next night. Pleasant staff. TV OK. Wifi a bit slow. Bed too firm. Pillows too soft and some too hard. Furniture needs updates. Wobbly table leg and initials carved in trim. Drawers no handles. Bathroom clean good hotwater. Conditions and work crews suggest refurbishments in progress. Location was good for us near family. No dining on site but plenty of local food spots. A bit primitive still but downtown on a budget=okay.

My room wasn’t cleaned the second day of my stay, I asked the receptionist why my room wasn’t cleaned, he said that I had to tell them to clean my room?????

Sunset Motel - Pomona

In town for funeral, but room was nice. Shutters instead of curtains, so some light came thru in AM, but not bad, just different. Had some basic bathroom amenities. Off main street, so busy, but not really noisy. Staff friendly & helpful.

Nice on the inside but not so much on the outside.

Once arriving at the motel, I buzzed for the manager to get my room key. On entering the room, it was very clean and had everything we needed. The refrigerator worked fine but the turn table in the microwave was not working right. Later on that night, after being out all day, there was a hypodermic needle in front of the space that I parked in. I went to the office and buzzed for the manager to let her know. She responded with "nobody has been in your room". I wasn't insinuating that. I wanted her to move it because I didn't want to touch it and I had my daughters with me and I didn't want them to be in contact with it. The next morning, the needle hadn't been moved and so I kicked it across the parking lot in front of the managers office and let the armed security guard know. After returning to our room from our day trip, the housekeeping hadn't gone into our room to replace any of the towels that we used or make the beds. Fortunately, we didn't need any of the amenities that were left in the room (soap, razor, toothbrush, etc.). The neighborhood was less than desirable. I was flipping through the TV channels and saw a porno channel that was very inappropriate for anyone who is staying there with children. I will never be returning to this location or referring anybody that I consider a friend.

Cheap Hotel in Pomona

This hotel is budget! It is on the edge of the downtown area of Pomona which is just outside of the nicer parts of town. I stayed for three days and it was fairly quiet and secure here with no bedbugs. The amenities were sparse and in poor condition, but everything worked. No closet for hanging of clothes. The room was clean, but worn. The bed was firm and comfortable. Management and maids were friendly. If you are on a budget this is a good choice.

Terrible Staff

There's too many things to complain about, and there all about the staff (rude, unhelpful) or just dint care. I'm just disappointed in the whole experience.
