"We booked for 2 nights for this stay and ended up having to leave the very next morning. This apartment is advertised very nicely, but it is not equipped/functional. Our first experience was taking a shower that night- the shower drain was clogged and we had to rush taking a shower. We reported this to the host and he said that someone was going to look into that the next day (this was not supposed to happen if the property is inspected prior to ).There was no electricity all night, mosquitos...

"Roger, the property manager was very accommodating with arranging an early check in for our stay. But that’s about the only good thing I can say. The AC did not work my entire stay, imagine no AC in the DR heat. Then the sheets and towels had ton of brown and red stains on them. We had to ask the manager to bring us new towels and laundry detergent so we can at least wash the sheets. There wasn’t any hot water whatsoever, even though the manager said there was when we first checked in. The wifi...

"Todo estuvo muy buenos"

Caribbean Luxury Villa - House of Mermaids ✅Ocean View ✅Private Pool ✅Full Staff

10/10 Excellent

"I cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay. The home was incredibly clean and beautifully maintained. Every room was spacious, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The multiple balconies offered beautiful, shady places to relax throughout the day, each with a stunning view. The pool was the perfect temperature and provided a refreshing escape from the heat after sunbathing on the comfortable poolside lounge chairs. The evenings here were unlike anything I had ever experienced. Many nights, we fell asleep on the large loungers and enjoyed a peaceful nap as the breeze gently kissed our skin. Sitting on the back porch, we could look out at the ocean and then turn slightly to see the beautiful mountains. It was absolutely breathtaking. The home, the views, and the surrounding area were fantastic, but what truly made this place special was the staff. Tanya, Jonny, and Narciso were phenomenal. Tanya and Jonny kept the house spotless and prepared the most delicious, authentic Dominican food. Tanya was even kind enough to let me cook with her and taught me how to make some of my husband’s favorite dishes. Her pastelone was out of this world and I picked up some tips on how to improve my own.We were able to truly relax because we didn’t have to do a single thing. The dishes were washed and the home was cleaned immediately and almost unnoticeably. It was incredible how quickly and efficiently they worked.Narciso kept the pool and the entire property immaculate. He a"

"This was truly the best vacation we have had. My wife and I renewed our vows with just a small gathering of our kids and grandkids and all I can say is this is a great value! The home is beautiful, the staff is wonderful and Glenda was a joy to work with throughout the booking phase and all the way through the entire trip. I cannot say enough. Also, the meals the staff made for us were absolutely amazing! They catered our renewal of our vows ceremony and the meal was delicious and they even set it up nicely. It was just such a nice surprise and certainly was not expected but that’s just who they were…generous beyond words."
