The food it was the same thing every day, and there was no activity for the guest at the hotel the pool and the beach is nice but need more to do at nite for guest

Balcones del Caribe is a beautiful spot with an excellent location and easy access to the beach. The complex feels very safe, and the staff were always helpful when we needed general information.
My only concerns were about the condition of the village: the back door didn’t have a proper lock, the bathroom door wasn’t closing well, and the safe box wasn’t working during our stay.
Overall, it’s a lovely place with great potential—just needs a bit more attention to maintenance.

During my stay, I can say that I was somewhat disappointed when it came to the service from some of the staff. When visiting the restaurants and buffet, most of the employees were not very attentive. Maybe one or two people would greet you warmly and make you feel welcome. There were several occasions where we were not even offered water at the table, and when requesting something simple, the staff would either disappear or forget to bring it. I’m not sure if this was due to the hotel being understaffed or another issue.
On the first night, I called reception to request someone to check the air conditioning in my room, but no one ever showed up. Additionally, room service was not provided at any time during my stay.
On a positive note, I had a very good experience at the bar. The employees there were much more attentive, especially Jose, who consistently went above and beyond to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. He always served with a smile and truly made a difference in the overall experience.
