"I loved everything about this hotel. The location was perfect, the staff was so hepful and accommodating, the room was perfect. There was only one things that prevented me from being able to give 5 stars and that was the bed. As a first time traveler to Mexico/PV I wasn't aware that beds in hotels (especially older ones, from what I've researched now) that the "bedframe" is concrete to prevent moisture and insect issues. It felt like i was sleeping on concrete, the mattress wasn't thick enough to help. Unfortunately, this is a huge part of an amazing hotel experience for me because I didn't get sleep. I wish I could say I'll definitely be returning but unless they change the bed situation, I can't say that."

"For many years I stayed at the same hotel in PV Because of the location and a great staff. Unfortunately it closed recently and I was unsure on this trip where I would want to stay. I remembered that the Casa Maria was across the street and thought I would give them a try. It was a great choice not only because of the location ut also a terrific staff. The property Is immaculate and it has a festive flavor I would recommend it to anyone visiting Puerto Vallarta and this is certainly where I will be staying in the future Very much looking to my next trip and this will certainly my go to hotel. "The staff was amazing they made our stay extra special. This property is a great value for what you get. It’s definitely an authentic Mexican hotel. Felix the housekeeper was amazing and Antonio Rodriguez the front desk clerk was amazing! Also the night lady was amazing as well. Lupita took good care of me for breakfast as was delightful. We actually stayed here for the hamburgers at the burger bar because they’re the best hamburgers and french fries you’ll have anywhere and Manuela took good care of us. She was a delight and made us the best burgers ever all the staff here were very good. The buffet food was amazing. It was home cooked patty, authentic Mexican food, and it was healthy. This is a great resort. I highly suggest anybody to come here."
