Very cute boutique hotel. Super friendly staff, great location and relaxing pool. The welcome margaritas were delicious and the hotel is close to everything g in the romantic zone. From Antonio the cat greeting us on check in to the welcome Margaritas by the River, this place made a great impression. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room had an old world charm, we had a cute balcony and there was cool art all around. The location was great! Make sure to stroll on the island in the river. The setting was quiet and I thought the hotel was good value for the money.

This older and beautiful hotel sits in the heart of Old Town so is central to many fine restaurants and great shopping. The manager, Martha, is amazing. She is knowledgeable of the area and professional at all times with a warmness that we very much appreciated. The pool area along the river were wonderful! All in all a lovely few days spent there!

This was our first time staying here. Our room was clean and had a beautiful view across the river. I loved listening to the music from the restaurant across the river as well. The staff were very kind and did their best to make our stay as pleasant as possible including the breakfasts that we had on the outdoor terrace every morning.

There is no elevator and lots of stairs going every which way . The entrance gate is very heavy and slams loudly which echoes throughout the courtyard . Getting in the pool , the steps are very large abd you have to agile . Staff were very very good !! Would stay here again .

Garlands del Rio is a charming boutique hotel. It is their people that stand out and keep people coming back. Martha, Rico and Ivan are all exceptional. The hotel itself is very nice, clean and convenient to everything in the Zona Romantica. We were there during the cartel violence and the hotel staff kept us safe and secure. They did their best under extremely difficult situations. We definitely will return and visit them again.
