"We stayed at the Inn of the lost coast for three nights June 20-23 2026. It was spectacular. We had magnificent ocean views where we watched whales & sea lions from our room. The best was watching the sunset from our patio with some wine. The Inn is very quiet and the beds were super comfortable. The room was well maintained and very clean with a fireplace! Erin and the staff were super nice and helpful with any questions we had. They have a restaurant for breakfast and lunch with gorgeous Ocean views. They also have a pizza shop on site, it was delicious! Close by was a must see Black Sands Beach. Cape Mendocino lighthouse is within walking distance where we collected sea shells down the path to the beach. There were many options for breakfast, lunch and dinner all within walking distance. We rented 2 E bikes to explore the cove, it was a fun way for some sightseeing. We hope that we can come back someday for a longer stay. We miss it already. Tom & Laura New York"
