"The Victorian Inn is owned and operated by a family who are there daily and it shows. People are very friendly and happy as a great vibe breakfast in the morning is very nice freshly baked scones and fruit. The hotel itself has been beautifully restored and maintained a beautiful example of a Victorian building. The bar and restaurant downstairs is great so handy to have a nice supper at the Inn. You can walk to all the shops in Ferndale. Great location will go back for sure."

"I showed up for check in and an employee was smoking in front of the no smoking sign. We haul our suitcases upstairs to our corner room and it's not ready with sheets off and room open. It had a bad vibe and smell. I ate the price of the reservation and stayed at the Comfort Inn and have no regrets. Comfort Inn was comfy, clean, and had a nice breakfast. "

"Room has ocean view. Maybe only good thing about it . Room had bad odor . The front and back doors were extremely hard to open. I would not want to be in that room during a hazardous situation. I wanted to tell the office staff this before I left. Office wasn’t open at check out . "

The entire property, the grounds, the location, just very open relaxing, with just the right amount of seclusion. Just the right amount of distance out of town, but still really quick and accessible.Sharon was great with communication. Made herself available via phone and text and was readily responsive. We’re gonna do it again"

"The room was extremely cold when we arrived and the one small baseboard heater could not warm it up. Chairs and settees in the common rooms needed updated padding. They were uncomfortable. The front door needs cleaning on the inside."
