Hyatt House Washington DC/The Wharf

"I suggest arriving early for valet. It was full by the time we arrived so we had to self park without the in/out privileges. Otherwise everything was great! The hospitality staff was excellent! They were warm & welcoming and very helpful. They made our brkfst buffet experience nice. The front desk staff was also very nice - 2 young men - wish I had gotten their names. The rooms were clean & laid out well with a nice view of the marina. Thanks!"

"I’ve stayed in this hotel multiple times and I keep coming back because the location is excellent: the McPherson Square metro station is about 15 minutes walk but the bus stop is right next to the hotel. Checking in was easy and the front desk agent (John) was extremely professional, and he also helped us find restaurants. In my traveling companion’s room there was an issue that we addressed and they fixed it by the time we returned from our trip. They recently renovated the lobby and it is beautiful - I’m hoping they will start renovating the rooms as well as they’re a little outdated. No issues with cleanliness, there’s a coffee/tea maker and a mini fridge in the room and they provided 2 bottles of water and coffee/tea. Housekeeping kept refilling what needed. If you have a car and want to use their garage, that would be an extra charge (I believe it was $50/night). Breakfast is $18/person. When we checked out we asked to store our luggage in their storage and they did accommodate it. I highly recommend this hotel for those who do looking for a nice hotel experience and enjoy what DC can offer."

"I love the location! Its super close to all main destinations in Washington DC. Love the staff. From the front desk staff, restaurant staff, to the housekeeping staff. My family and I had a great time. Will definitely come back to stay here when we’re in town."

"Great location for all sites to see in DC. Restaurants nearby, metro nearby. It’s quiet and in a mostly residential neighborhood. Staff are super friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay there. I will definitely return next time I’m in town."

"I loved this place.It had a very warm cozy feel to it unlike most hotel chains.The decor was beautiful in the rooms and lobby.Hotel staff very friendly and helpful.Easy walk to metro.I would definitely stay there again."
