"The room itself is a bit tired, carpets not very pleasant, wouldn't necessarily put me off booking again but this is more just feedback. Everything worked ok, although a bit surprised to have to pay £10 to park in the hotel's own car park."

"The room was very clean and comfortable, the theme was really pleasant and I felt really relaxed there. The tea, coffee and hot chocolate was a really sweet thought with the fresh milk in a mini fridge being better than all other accommodation in facilities- it's such a small but significant difference. I really appreciated this. The towels were nice but the shared bathroom takes a bit of waiting for or timing. The shower then takes about 4 minutes to get the hot water through so I learnt to do other bathroom activities while waiting for the very hot but adjustable water to come through. The duvet and pillow covers were 100% polyester fleece which means I was either roasting hot sweating or cold uncovered. Fleece acts as an insulator so well that even to my sides under the duvet, small drops of condensation formed! It's just not a pleasant or very breathable material to have next to the skin or regulate heat. The bed was otherwise lovely and comfortable, I did sleep but it was broken because of the prickly heat. I would bring my own sheet and pillowcase in future. The owner/ staff is really caring and pleasant and is supportive to your stay being pleasant. I liked Swansea but did not have much time on this first trip. I really enjoyed my stay and would stay again."

"I had a terrible experience with my hotel booking yesterday. I made the reservation in the morning and informed the owner, John, that we would arrive late, after 9:00 PM. She told me there would be a £60 late check-in charge, which I agreed to. At 9:00 PM, she messaged me, and I explained that due to traffic and an accident, we would be delayed by about an hour. She responded rudely, telling me to call when I arrived, and I agreed. Before reaching the property, I messaged her at 10:55 PM to confirm our arrival time, and although she read the message, she did not reply. When we arrived at 10:55 PM, I called her, but she had blocked my number. I tried again from another phone, but after several attempts, she also blocked that number. (I have all proof in my phone). Your team was also called her but she did not answer your team call in the night approximately at 11:15 PM time and morning time at 6:25 AM. As a result, I was left stranded with my family after a five-hour drive, despite having paid for the reservation and accepted all her terms. This behavior was extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. I want my all money back which I paid her."

"Good sized property but unfortunately seems to suffer from damp. The bedding, towels, sofas and cushions were all damp. We had to use the blankets off the beds to sit on so not to feel it. Any clothes left out of our cases also ended up feeling damp every day so not great. Property had dehumidifiers in all rooms but they were completely full of water so did nothing at all to help! Oven had no markings on the switches so we had no idea how to use it. I had to turn them all on and hope for the best. The bed my daughter slept on broke at one point because the slats were not fitted properly. She had to sleep the other way round just to be on the safe side. If you have no car like we didn't, the road the property is on is VERY steep and quite a way up so hard work, especially with suitcases in tow. There is a taxi rank near the train station and bus stops on the road which could be useful. Also, steps up to the front of the property are also very steep so you need to be fit. Fab chip shop nearby though but unfortunately, due to our experience, we would not recommend this property."
