PET POLICY - Pets are allowed at this home, but we limit the number of animals to 1. Any undisclosed animals discovered on the property without prior written approval from the host will result in a $300 penalty and loss of security deposit. The pet fee is $20 per night for approved pets.

Welcome to The Urban Escape. Completely renovated and remodeled, this home is situated in the heart of historical Downtown Louisville. This functional 3BR/1.5BA is perfect for small groups or business travelers looking to explore all the Derby City has to offer.

Medical professionals..THANK YOU FOR ALL THAT YOU DO!! We are located just minutes from all the major downtown medical facilities and we offer discounted month-to-month rental rates for all medical personnel.

The primary suite with a king bed and private ½ bath are located on the first floor. 2 bedrooms, each with a queen bed, are on the second level which is only accessible by stairs. There is 1 full bathroom on the first floor. We spared no expense when renovating this property. High end fixtures, cabinets, flooring, and furniture complete the quaint, comfortable feel of this unit.

There is no private parking. Safe, free, on-street parking is readily available.
The kitchen is amazing. Completely updated with everything that you need to make great meals on site, minus the food. Coffee is provided to help jump start your mornings. It's a fantastic place to enjoy breakfast or wind down the evening with friends, family, and a bourbon on ice.
The home is walking distance to many great restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, bars, and even independent fresh markets.

Laundry accommodations are provided. Feel free to use them as needed to wash clothes and/or linens.

Access to the house is through the front door. The key code will be sent 24 hours prior to check in.

Interaction is minimal. Guests check themselves in. Professional management staff is available for any needs during the stay.

The neighborhood is safe, growing, and vibrant. Restaurants, grocery, etc. all nearby.

A vehicle is recommended. Uber and Lyft are readily available through their applications.

RENTAL AGREEMENT: Guests are required to sign all Rental Agreements prior to check in. If guests refuse to sign the rental agreement, the cancellation policy will still apply.

KENTUCKY DERBY: All Kentucky Derby week/weekend reservations are non refundable, regardless of whether or not a rental agreement has been signed.

SECURITY DEPOSIT: A security deposit hold is required for this reservation. This deposit is collected outside of the booking platform. The deposit must be collected at least 3 days prior to check or the reservation may be cancelled and the cancellation policy will still apply.

We arrived and when we walked in I was surprised at how big it was compared to what it looked like outside. It was located in an area close to everything we needed. We needed extra blankets and they were quick to help us with that. Everything was perfect. If you are looking for a place to eat go to Chicken King. We went and at first we were skeptical because of the looks, but the food was amazing and the price was outstanding. We fed 5 adults and 2 littles for $40

Close to everything!
We had a great stay here. The property is well-equipped, and is close to pretty much everything in Louisville. There is plenty of street parking, and the neighborhood is very active. Great value for the price! Thanks!

Nice newly renovated property
Perfect place for my hubby and I to use as home base while visiting the many bourbon distilleries. The master king bed was very comfortable, and the home was well decorated with basic necessities available. We would certainly recommend this home if visiting Church Hill downs or the bourbon trail. Parking on the street was a little tense since it is a busy street. Market St was a good area for restaurants and we also enjoyed the German district. A must see is Bardstown.

This was a nice little gem for our family trip. Centrally located for all the activities we were doing. Was clean. Beds were nice, kitchen was stocked with what we needed. The house was convenient to downtown and to the distilleries we visited. The house was clean and everything we were told it would be. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would recommend this property to anyone visiting Louisville and bourbon country.

Nice property
The house was very nice. The proximity to everything was really good. The neighborhood seemed ok although there were a lot of sirens all night long, but could have just been the location relative to nearby hospitals. All amenities were there and very useful.

Not the worst place I've stayed
The neighborhood is a little sketchy, there were cobwebs from the light fixtures when I got there and a good smount ofnthe silverware in the drawerwas dirty, no blankets or much of anything beyond the bare necessities. The bed(s) were comfortable and it's close to downtown. Communication was a little spotty. I've stayed worse places though.
