"This was our first stay at a bed and breakfast and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. The owners are friendly, helpful, and attentive. Our room was lovely and we slept well. Breakfast each morning was delicious. The property was next to the Homestead so it's an easy walk if you book activities through the resort. "The Jackson River Estate was the perfect getaway for our 2025 Family Reunion. The estate is very spacious and provides magnificent views. There is river access but the water is cold. The pool and slide were a big hit! Cole’s Point (beach), the humpback bridge and waterfall were super close and great excursions. This location is great for families that like to be outdoors…hiking, fishing, kayaking…Check-in/out was super easy. Although we heard there might have been a bear, there was no sighting. Some of the storms made it more buggy so bring your bug spray. Overall, we LOVED our week away. "
