"An absolutely incredible place to stay, with gorgeous river views and even a lake. We stayed in a barrel which was so comfortable, I really did not want to get out of bed! The owner and others on the farm are kind, warming and helpful, and are clearly working hard to build an amazing space. I just wish I could have stayed longer!"

"Beautiful little cabin, perfect for a couple nights! It was a little bit difficult to find but worth the drive. Lovely scenery and the cabin has everything you need for your stay. Definitely would stay again!"

"Had a lovely stay in the Owl's Roost. The hosts were so kind and couldn't have been more helpful. It was so peaceful being surrounded by fields. The cabin was very clean and beautifully decorated, and the bed was comfy! The hosts even offered to provided a telescope to use for the clear nights, which was a very nice touch (we did bring our own) We will be returning again in the future."

"This little place a stunning we have the best time and great location There were a couple of things that I would add a long mirror in the bedroom would be great.And the bedding was so hot for this time of year fleece bedding and a feather duvet was a bit much.But we will be back."

"Perfect little hide away, amazing views of the countryside. Cosy Shepherds Shed with everything you need, hot tub was a bonus, we really enjoyed sitting around the fire in the evenings. The hosts were great."

Totally peaceful, with no noise apart from birdsong - just utter bliss.Our host was very attentive if we contacted, but left us to our own devices at all other times.Cooking facilities were great and you could quite easily stay here for the week without stepping outside of the boundary. "Had an amazing stay at stairway to Devon. Nathan and Helen are fantastic hosts from start to finish. The cabin is stunning with all the added extras that make it special. The cabin is immaculate with everything you need for your stay. I think the local cider and homemade chocolate brownies was a really nice touch. If you are looking for a relaxing retreat with your partner with amazing views of the countryside then this is the place for you. Will definitely be back. Our two chocolate Labradors...
