"An absolutely incredible place to stay, with gorgeous river views and even a lake. We stayed in a barrel which was so comfortable, I really did not want to get out of bed! The owner and others on the farm are kind, warming and helpful, and are clearly working hard to build an amazing space. I just wish I could have stayed longer!"

"Had a lovely stay in the Owl's Roost. The hosts were so kind and couldn't have been more helpful. It was so peaceful being surrounded by fields. The cabin was very clean and beautifully decorated, and the bed was comfy! The hosts even offered to provided a telescope to use for the clear nights, which was a very nice touch (we did bring our own) We will be returning again in the future."

"We had the most peaceful and relaxing stay at this beautiful shepherd’s hut just outside Barnstaple. Tucked away in the Devon countryside, it offered the perfect escape from everyday life. The views across the open fields were absolutely stunning, and we especially loved watching the cows roam freely in the field right in front of the hut – it was such a calming experience.
