The Angus Hotel
Centrally located to the places I needed to go to. Room was clean and staff was friendly and accommodating to my needs. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Heaps of room for off street parking, Bathroom anf kitchenette rundown, Bed must of been broken or something creaked everytime o moved and mattress sunk right down into base

Ava Lodge
We were only planning to stay one night at Ava lodge before traveling to Tongariro. But due to cyclone Vaianu we called Ava lodge and Joe was able to extend our stay a couple extra nights. Ava lodge was very nice, modern, clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks Joe for helping ...
