"A/C was super loud. Check in was easy. Love the ice and water machine. Staff friendly. Pool’s were great. Parking lot lots next to front rooms. Bed comfy. Walkable to town. Would stay again. No furniture to use in room ( desk and bed, no chairs). Loved the pour over coffee."

"We love this place, but it's slipped a bit. Our room was not vacuumed during our 3-day stay, we had to get extra toilet paper as it was not restocked adequately, and the House of Better staff were lacking. Ordered a beer from the pool, and they brought a completely different beer. When we asked them about it, they said that they were out of the beer that we ordered, so they substituted it with another beer. They should have checked with us first. Also, the House of Better staff were a bit rude. Not the service or responses that we're used to. Stay was September 17-20."

"Checked in late , 2100 hours. Once in the room, one bed looked as though it had been slept in. It was unmade with all pillows stacked on it. Trash can was full. Towels hung over shower door. Called the answering service since the office was closed. The manager’s wife talked to me. The manager came by to “verify” that the room has not been serviced. The two of them offered an upgrade to a room with 2 kings and a view of the lake. This room was clean. I also got a later check out time by 2 hours. It was a hassle though."
