"Very clean room, strong Wi-Fi, kind and professional staff, lovely breakfast, and adjacent parking and incredible value for money. This is my new go-to hotel for this area."

"The staff were friendly and the rooms clean. We had a triple room which was two single beds and a futon. The futon was so uncomfortable with two metal bars across it. Breakfast was not included in the room so you had to pick off a menu and pay for each item separately so was expensive. Also no alternative to sourdough bread which was very hard. Overall the stay was OK but I would not return. "

"Broadway in the Cotswolds was beautiful, we had a lovely stay at the lodge. The coffee, tea, cookies and milk were a very nice touch. We had an issue with the hot plate and the staff went above and beyond having our breakfast cooked at the restaurant below. Hopefully one day we will be back! Cheers"

"This was a lovely place to stay. The room was beautifully decorated as was the en-suite which was modern and stylish. There was no road noise and black out curtains ensured the room was dark. The proprietor was friendly as well as incredibly helpful. Breakfast was excellent with many options available. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat!"

"The room and bathroom were very clean, as was the hotel in general. Our only disappointment was the standard of service at breakfast; whilst the food was excellent the service left a bit to be desired and the waitress was thoroughly miserable. She appeared to focus on table cleaning around us rather than being attentive to guests’ needs. Thankfully our breakfast was not contaminated by the cleaning fluid that she was using at an adjacent table."
"Great location and a true to life oldie worlde 400 year old hotel. But with a truly modern twist. Where old accommodates new. Pleasantly surprised by the lovely foyer/rest area and dining and breakfast rooms. Such a great place to hold a venue such as a wedding, a milestone birthday or a family christening etc. The rooms are very clean with exceptional decor. En-suite bathroom with a good shower, all toiletriers supplied, along with fresh towels. Impeccable made beds, with tea/coffee making facilities. Along with a colour television. Makes for a home from home stay. Lovely rooms with modern decor, clean and inviting. Beds are made up to the highest standard. Tea and coffee making facilities. A lovely en-suite bath. With a walk in shower. Having toiletries and freshly laundred towels. The morning breakfast is a great start to the day, offering a full varied range, from ceareals, English breakfast with a choice of butchers seasoned suasages, fied eggs, hash browns, grilled tomatoes, back bacon, baked beans, mushrooms. Pastries, toast, marmalade, jam, honey. Fresh fuit, low calorie yoghurt, vegan/ vegetarian oat milks, low calorie crisps, tea and coffee, fresh orange and apple juhce. Friendly and attentive staff who make your staff who are always at hand and making sure your stay is an enjoyable one. This along with a good bar and a great restaurant serving food. Especially Sunday roast dinner a must to have, a lovely outside garden. To sit outside in those lovely hot sunny day"
"We loved our three nights at Ellenborough Park. What a gorgeous property. The room we had was number 40! Looked like a bridal suite!. The food was fabulous and great bar. The spa was excellent. Kevin is a great manager! Max, Charlie, Bernadette and all the other waiters were fabulous! The Sunday lunch was great! We will definitely be back for another visit!"
"Breakfast was beautiful and a very good selection of food and drink. The gentlman that welcomed us into breakfast was an asset to the hotel and a very hard worker who enjoyed his job."
"There is a pay and display car park next to this hotel with very thin parking bays. Hotel is in a very convenient location to walk into town in minutes. Reception staff were very friendly - staff in the bar were a bit off hand. "
"Arrival and check in was all good, restaurant was good great food. We stayed with a wedding party, so we had quite a few rooms. I believe the rest of the parties rooms were fine however my room was on the second floor. We we had suitcases to carry to the second floor, large mother of the bride dresses with a large hat box and accessories.
This was extremely difficult for myself because I was leaving the hotel at different times from other people. I was in a hurry with time. I’m trying to get my belongings downstairs for my transport. So please be aware if you’ll ever have a wedding party ask for rooms on the ground floor.
My main issue with the room was the heat. The radiator was on max, the window was extremely small even when we turned the radiator off the heat just did not seem to go down. Coffee facilities were fine however I never understand why hotels do not leave enough milk the shower was fine however it was a very tight cubicle and trying to have some self-care was extremely hard. I am only 5 foot one and weigh 120 lb so I have no idea how larger people did it.
Also, my room was in the attic roof the roof draped over the bed. This was extremely claustrophobic on top of the room being probably one of the smallest they had.
Needless to say I didn’t sleep at all which wasn’t great for the day ahead.
My advice is if you have a wedding party staying, think ahead unlike I did. "
"Very old building, yet very charming. Many small sitting areas to read and to relax and they are really very cute. The facilities are very clean and well maintained. The staff are very helpful. A great experience for me. "
