"We had a wonderful family vacation at Back in Time. The 4 us ( 21 and 24 kids) loved the nostalgia of the lake house and thoroughly enjoyed all the Elvis decor. The name Back in Time is a perfect description of the house, it was like spending a week in the past in simpler times when everything was a little less rushed. "We had a great time. The location and access to the lake made this a perfect spot for the kids to play and enjoy nature. The rooms worked great for 6 of us. There are a few minor things that could be better. I think there were only 5 spoons in the drawer. Not a huge deal as we had plastic but worth a mention. "Smoky Lake cabin checked all the boxes for our family. The kitchen is well appointed. Absolutely stunning views of Douglas Lake from the decks of each of the three levels. Pool table, arcade game and hot tub were added bonuses. Although the architecturally pleasing spiral staircase is a plus, it is very steep (both up to master suite and down to the game room/ guest bedrooms). "We were taking our oldest son to the lake for his 14th birthday for fishing and nearby Pigeon Forge attractions. The house was very clean and organized upon our arrival. Bill and Sonja were very informative and communicated very well! We loved the floor plan and the screened in porches both top and bottom. Easy access to the dock and lake made easy work for fishing and utilizing the canoe! Many thanks for a great weekend. Will definitely be back"

"We had to leave one of the bedroom doors open to have a/c in as there’s a a/c in the living room n an a/c in the other bedroom. The kitchen outlets did not work as I tried to plug in a fan. I notified the booking agent by message, as soon as it was discovered. It was after 10 pm. She said she’d report that to the maintenance crew. "The cabin was comfortable and spacious with the most amazing Mountain views. It was a short hike down to the lake with a great dock with lots of fun to be had including kayaks, paddle boards and floaties. Dawn was a great host and always responded immediately with any questions we had. She went out of her way to make sure we had an enjoyable, comfortable stay!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! They did NOT charge extra for our 2 dogs, which was awesome! Most other places have a ridiculous pet fee. This one was FREE OF PET FEES! The cabin itself was lovely. Everything was provided for our comfort. Fullysticked. Also, it is near grocery stores and restaurants so everything can be delivered! You font have to leave! It was Perfect!"
