"We had a one bedroom apt here. Enjoyed the kitchen. Steps away from the train station, still very walkable to the Duomo and Uffizi. Host is really nice to wait outside the building to check us in. "Pros: neighborhood was nice, great location to train station and small, but offers plenty of room. Cons: Owner did not respond to any messages until I was able to have someone call them. Although most of the apartment is clean, the bathroom needs some help. Floor was not washed, shower is moldy. The worst part is that they have bedbugs in one of the beds. I have about 100 bites on my arms, hands, legs and any other exposed part of my body. I am miserable and have been home now for 2 days....

"I spent 3 nights at the c-hotels Ambasicatori while visiting Florence to see the MotoGP event in Mugello. The hotel is right next to the train station, which makes it pretty convenient to everything in Florence. City is small and walkable. Checking was nice and staff let me check in early as i was traveling from the US. I got a room with a nice balcony overlooking the main train station. The area is active and noisy. This is not anything to do with the hotel. The room is quiet considering the activity in the area. Staff was pleasant and helpful for all my questions. I had a drink at the bar and breakfast one day. Both were good experiences. Thanks for a good stay!"
