The Bauhaus Room - Lucca Countryside

The Bauhaus Room: An unexpected harmony between German functionalism and Italian warmth. Designed to bridge my ten years in Berlin with my local roots, this room juxtaposes clean steel lines and modern shapes with a cherished family tapestry hanging above. It is a space where personal history meets design theory.

Villa Augusto is a spacious, peaceful 160 m² retreat set in 4 hectares of olive groves and woodland with mountain views. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, sleeping up to 6 guests. Modern interiors honour the villa’s historic roots.



Outside, you’ll find a private pool, an outdoor shower, a barbecue and peaceful spots beneath the olive trees. There’s a record player in the living room; Wi-Fi lets you stream your music, and books await in the dining room. An espresso machine and a moka pot are on hand for breakfast, and there’s a dedicated workspace. You can sample olive oil, honey and jam produced on site.



The villa welcomes adults only. Pets are welcome (up to 3, for an extra fee).

The kitchen is shared.
