Loved it. Worth every penny. Locals are friendly, it’s like a part of the island to yourself. A must do if you aren’t a fan of resorts. Massage was one of the best I’ve had and I’m a massage therapist. When I say clean, I mean clean. Not a dust particle in sight, just a lovely experience from the moment we touched down.

Huge property with just about everything you could possibly want. Amazing pool is centerpiece of resort. Great service. Beautiful location. OK food. Slow wifi.

I go to Jamaica almost every year and stay at different resorts. I find this resort to be great for the price. They even accommodated me to a room on the ground level because I have trouble with stairs. All the staff were pleasant and always asked if they could help you in anyway. The food was good and I know some reviews state differently. You have to realize people come from all over the world and trying to please everyone would be impossible. We were the first guest ever to arrive at the resort on the adult side and they treated us like celebrities. I really enjoyed the food the food was bomb and yes I am black. Perfect stay, but with the mixture of heat and air conditioning it causes the floor to get slippery which caused me to fall down a flight of stair. Other than that it’s a great experience.

The two story town house is located on the cliff facing the ocean, with spectacular view. I can’t say enough how beautiful this property is. Took a week-long trip with my girlfriend in late July 2015 and stayed in the oceanfront room. Grounds/staff: The grounds are extremely well-kept and every single member of the staff is incredibly polite and friendly. This was a great choice for me. I felt very safe, everybody asked how I was each day. The staff and vendors were friendly but not overbearing. The room was spotless!!! Beds comfy, great TV with American channels. The onsite restaurant was good with a limited menu but everything I had was very good.

Tensing Pen is the perfect escape. This tiny resort with the cottages scattered across the property provides a perfect taste of Jamaica. The location on the cliffs is gorgeous and starting each morning with a swim from the cliffs is ideal. The staff is friendly and helpful. Needed an impromptu quiet night and was grateful to find the blue room at a moment's notice. The room was beautiful and I needed the quietness. Muhammad was amazing, even took me to the grocery store. I will be back soon that's for sure.

To hotel staff was very friendly. The included breakfast was great! The hotel restaurant food is really good! I tried many places in the area for food but the best food I ate while in Jamaica came from the hotel restaurant.

Anyone who is looking for a great resort with impeccable service should stay here. We stayed at this hotel for 8 days in mid-January 2017 and couldn't have been more pleased. Rooms are fantastic as they all have balconies and are ocean view. We have been all over the Caribbean and I would rate the Cliff as one of the top resorts I have been too. Our second visit to Idle Awhile, and our first time in a Garden View unit. There are only 8 of these, four per floor. The beachfront building contains 4 identical suites, 2 per floor. Unit 102 (our garden) was a ground floor unit and provided some amount of privacy as we used the lanai extensively. 103 and the 4 upstairs units also offer privacy on the lanais. We were surprised that the garden units were not equipped with a coffeemaker. At $7/half pot, we purchased a used coffeemaker in town...
