Great air conditioning during a hot July visit, room and amenities were lovely, and the breakfast was very nice! It’s a short stroll to the old town and bridge and there are plenty of grocery stores and restaurants nearby. Would definitely stay here again!

I stayed here for 3 nights. The location is great—less than a 10-minute walk to the train station. The area felt very safe, and there were lots of stores and places to eat nearby, which made everything very convenient. The hotel is modern and clean, but it is quite expensive. The gym was a bit disappointing. It's small, and the equipment isn't very good, so I didn't really use it. The only thing I didn't like was the staff. They weren't rude, but they never smiled and didn't make me feel welcome. Overall, it's a good hotel if you want a convenient location, but I expected better service for the price.

Very clean large room for Lucerne. The bathroom was massive and very clean. The hotel overall almost feels like you are staying at a 5 star hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful and about a 5 minute walk to the lake.

We had a lovely stay in Lucerne and the staff, breakfast, cleanliness and location of the hotel was terrific. Unfortunately there is a rooftop nightclub at this location that on the last night of our stay (4 nights, on a Saturday) played music at high volume until 3:00 am. We were 3 floors below the top so I can only imagine what it must have been like higher up. For $400 a night, this is completely unacceptable. Consider stopping. This was not happening the 3 nights before. Thump thump thump ka-thump. Thump thump thump ka-thump. Make it stop.

We had an excellent stay at Astoria hotel. The location was perfect, 5 min walking distance to Luzern train station. Bus station right outside. The room was very clean and had great amenities. The breakfast was well stocked and the staff at this hotel was fantastic. As the hotel is near a bar/club, just ask for a quiet room away from to avoid the noise from the street if your window is open.

Everything about the property was great. It was pretty much next to the main train station and very walkable to everywhere. The only thing I did not like was that I got a room without a bathroom door, which I don’t understand exists on any property, but the staff was able to change my room for one with a private bathroom, so all worked out really well.

We paid for a deluxe room. When we finally got the room, we found that the bathroom didn't have a door (maybe it's a new concept...), but the worst part was that the coffee maker, cups, and coffees were in the bathroom, right in front of the toilet! We asked to be transferred to another room and they moved us to a much smaller one. We asked about a credit, but according to them, "it was the same category." In short: my experience was bad. I don't recommend it.
