The hotel staff were super friendly and helpful on check in! The hotel is a little dated but decently clean. It is in the perfect location! We walked from the train, took a few mins and was a flat walk. Then throughout our stay we were able to pop into the hotel because it was right in the middle of all the attractions! Recommend staying here!

The hotel itself is more like a 2 star hotel to me. Super tiny rooms, small bathroom and shower area. The shower was so low that had to lower my head to wash my hair. The staff were great and really helpful though.

We should have checked the amenities more thoroughly, there was no fridge or air conditioning which made for a very uncomfortable night. Some staff were very helpful and we were able to leave our luggage there for the day which was appreciated. Sorry no return business from us.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Hotel was clean and tidy, if a bit less up to date than other nearby hotels. Great location close to everything. No AC but room stayed fairly comfortable overnight with a fan. Don’t expect every amenity but a very comfortable, basic hotel.

The location of the hotel is unbeatable- right in the center of old town with ready access to all modes of transportation Staff were very helpful especially Hussein who was very knowledgeable and helped us with trip planning They could do better with coffee and tra in the room though.

The hotel is in a great location, but it is very noisy at night, and the beds uncomfortable. There is no air conditioning, so the rooms can get very hot during the summer. On the positive side, the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.

Excellent location. A 1 minute walk to the lake and it’s beautiful views, a 1-2 minute walk walk to shops and cafes, and a 5 min walk to the centre of the old town such as the Chapel Bridge. My room was great as I’d upgraded to a junior suite, which lived up to its name. My friends in standard rooms found them a bit small but adequate and had no complaints. The rooms look like they’ve been recently refurbished, so that was good. Bear in mind this is a local hotel rather than a multi-national so comes with some local character and is not a faceless corporate template room - this a good thing when staying in Lucerne, making it more memorable. The reception team were 100% brilliant. Warm and welcoming on arrival, pleasantly chatty when we were waiting for the rest of our group in reception area, and they went above and beyond for a couple of requests we had. Truly exceptional people. The hotel has a nice breakfast restaurant. There is no bar, but honestly you should be exploring the various local cafes, bars and restaurants within a street or two. My only niggle was that the water ran cold one morning, but I had already noticed other people mentioned this in their reviews and had found it runs hot again if you let the tap run for a few minutes. So I’d recommend you accept this as a feature of a local hotel with older pipework and don’t fret - just let the tap run for a few mins while you brew a coffee and all will be fine. Really enjoyed our stay and would recommend. Thanks.

Our room was so nice! Large and updated, with a view of the mountains. Don’t judge the hotel by the older lobby, it is a great place to stay in an excellent location. We walked with our luggage to and from the train station in 10min
