"My wife and I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. The place is charming and an experience in itself. It is an old house, but the rooms are in a perfect condition and spotlessly clean. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. The location is great for exploring the area to the west of London, including Salisbury, Bath and Bristol in a car. "

"The hotel, pub was absolutely perfect. The staff were excellent especially Tarik excuse me if not spelt correctly. All staff were extremely attentive. Room was so cozy, a little in the warm side but we didn’t see the thermostat as slightly hidden. We ate at the pub on Friday, food, drinks all excellent. Breakfast was fresh and hot. We will definitely be back."

"This is a wonderful friendly, family pub. We had the good fortune to book off-season and the hotel/room type accommodation was of a very high standard. How many places offer fresh milk in the fridge for your Nespresso (4 varieties to choose from), or have a high quality TV that works well, great ?home-made shortbread. - not many. The restaurant is a go-to in the immediate area (of well-heeled discerning people) so supper and breakfast were both great - though I don't know what cooked would have...

"Fantastic pet friendly hotel, amazing food, great walks outside, great extras, love the pantry’s and the boots for free hire, the games in the lounge and the free night cap, to be super picky the only complain I could have is the outside hot tubs need a good clean and sadly while I was their only one was working which may be the reason for the tub needing cleaning due to over use. But it still gets 5 stars from me as the rest was stellar quality. "
