It was all good!

Very happy with Icon. Entrance and access were convenient and easy, location very good, with bus stops within a 2-3 minute walk, the Lido/Cassarate area only 12-15 minute walk, and downtown only a 20-minute or so walk. The building was modern, and accommodation was very nice. Murphy bed very comfy, good kitchen and a very good bathroom with a rain showerhead. Nothing but nice things to say...we really loved it!

The location is very convenient to transportation and eating establishments within walking distance. The check in was all digital and if you have problems there’s not quick access. Was told to make sure the Bluetooth on phone needed to be activated but note that there’s A SECONDARY permission needed within the app. If there a glitch you’re at the mercy of automated replies and hoping someone comes back to you. Close to a University and the small room layout reminded me of my son’s upgraded University housing. Photo angles make it appear bigger but we made it work. If traveling with someone note that because it’s a Murphy bed you cannot rest and have comfy seating when the bed is down as it takes up the majority of the room so you both decide to lay down or sit. Clever that bed fits over the sofa becomes the side arm of the bed just know your committed to just a bed or 2 hard chairs for relaxation. During a 5 day stay we were told refresh of linens, towels and cleaning would come at a substantial cost and you need buy supplies for laundry, Building is modern & clean- highlight but wouldn’t say “Luxury”. We loved Lugano but this was very impersonal with no physical or easy support. Would not be our choice for a future stay. Parting gift was declining a request for any extension of time and reminded to promptly be out by 10:00AM. “Happy Rentals” is missing a true opportunity to make guest feel like they care and not just a turnkey impersonal experience.
