"Over all it was a good place to stay and an easy walk into the city centre. The sound proofing wasn't the best and a group of friends returned from a night out at about quarter past midnight and then talked and laughted until 2.00. Parking space is very limited."

"Our room (Triple Room Ensuite Bathroom) was spacious, beds were comfortable. Couch, TV and dining table made us feel like we were home. Large windows are absolutely fascinating. Although the bathroom was old, it was clean spotless. Show gel, lotions, shampoo and towels were provided. Our room was equiped with mini fridge, kettle, snacks, bottled water and variety of drinks (tea, coffee and hot chocolate). it’s possible to park right in front of the property on the street free of charge....

"When we arrived there was no heating on and no hot water. The outside temperature was 6C and the cottage was colder than that. Eventually someone arrived to put on the heating and light the wood burning stove. Even with that there was no way the cottage would be warm for at least 12 hours. "Looking for somewhere to stay while attending the Drovers Tryst Walking Festival, this was in a good central location, easy to walk into the town centre, with a supermarket for supplies just round the corner. Excellent value for money. I was welcomed and impressed with the room facilities and the little extras such as bottles of water in the fridge and bathrobes.
