"I had a great stay here! It's an old historic building near Luray Caverns and Shenandoah, and I enjoyed the pool and hot tub the night I arrived, and the room was very comfortable. "
"Charming stay at Hillside! Clean rooms, friendly staff, and close to beautiful mountain views. Perfect spot for visiting Shenandoah and Luray Caverns. Great value and peaceful vibes!"
"For this level of accommodation, it was great. The staff went out of their way to assist with a late check-in and we found the rooms to be large, clean and comfortable "

"We booked our room online. When we arrived we were told that the room we booked was unavailable as it was being booked by phone by someone the same time our online booking came through. Disappointed we were not in the inn but was put in one of their cottages which was excellant. We were well pleased. Ate in their restaurant and the food was amazing."
"We really enjoyed our stay! The location is ideal — just a few blocks from a lovely trail and downtown Luray. We brought two dogs, and the convenience of nearby walking areas was a huge plus. The neighborhood seems to be in the middle of revitalization, with several homes being renovated, which was nice to see.Luray Caverns is only a 7-minute drive, and Shenandoah National Park is about 40 minutes away, making this a great home base for exploring the area. The fenced yard was a great size for our dogs to run around. There were a few small holes under the fence, likely from a groundhog that lives nearby. It wasn’t an issue for our dogs, but small or escape-prone pups might need supervision. The house was very clean, especially the bathroom, which we appreciated. We couldn’t get the TV to work, but we didn’t mind since we were out most of the time. The kitchen has the essentials, though if you plan to cook, bring your own knife and specialty tools. The house next door appears abandoned. On our last night, we heard something large moving through the yard next door — startling, but we felt secure with the Ring camera and door alert system.Overall, a clean and cozy stay in a convenient and pet-friendly spot. We'd love to return!"
"We stayed at the Blue Pearl during a long weekend trip with our family of four and our dog. The house and property are beautiful! We had all the amenities we needed during our stay, and loved the fenced in backyard and hot tub. The beds were very comfortable. The location was ideal-walking distance to shops and restaurants and a short 5 minute drive to Luray Caverns. We enjoyed pizza from the Italian restaurant around the corner on our first night. Our family is looking forward to our next visit to the Blue Pearl!"

"Great accommodation for families. Nothing too fancy, but well appointed and in a fantastic location. Watched the singing tower show from the front porch and walked to Luray caverns."
"The B&B itself is lovely—clean, cozy, and full of charm, may be dated and not super luxurious, but what made our stay unforgettable was the incredible hospitality of the manager, Gregory. He’s not just a great host—he’s an excellent human being. Warm, attentive, and genuinely kind, he treated us more like a guest in his home than a customer. Whether it was offering local tips, helping with directions, or just taking a moment to chat, Gregory’s presence added a personal touch that made all the difference."
