"This motel was chosen because it is about a mile from the Luray Caverns entrance. The motel is two story, easy drive in, and easy to find. The facility is modern, well kept, and the room was clean and the bathroom facility is excellent. The heater worked fine, which was very helpful as it was cool when I arrived. The room was on the second floor, which was a walkup with safety stairs. But infirmed and older folks will have trouble unless I missed the elevator. There is a breakfast restaurant on the site, with great food, friendly service, and reasonable price. If I came back I would definitely stay there. Not a great choice for travelers coming through a main road as it is about 20-30 minutes of main highways. But for Luray area visits it is perfect and affordable. No grounds no swimming pool, just very good sleep and morning eats."

"The hotel looks beautiful on the outside. We checked into our room and the minute I opened the room door all I could smell was mold/mildew. The window was painted shut. I went down to the desk and asked for a room with a window that opened, they had one available. The exterior of the window was covered in black mold/mildew. But the room didn't smell horrible. There were no bath towels provided in the room. Which I hadn't noticed until the morning when I was ready to shower. There was a nice "speakeasy" in the lowest floor of the hotel."

"The house was very charming and cozy. It met all of our wants (2 bedrooms, king bed in primary, fenced in yard for dog, hot tub & fire pit, close to attractions). The host was very polite and attentive, and gave excellent recommendations for food (which were all in walking distance!). Could use a little more seating in the living room and a few more items in the kitchen (wine glasses, better skillets, sheet pans), but overall the house really has everything you need. We had a great Spring Break with our girls and would recommend this property! "
