Cute older place but well kept up. We only stayed for the night and didn't use kitchen area, but it looked good. Each room had a little outdoor sitting area behind the room on the lake side. Resort had a cozy game room/lounge area. Staff were super nice. Shower was tiny with a low showerhead which could be a challenge for a big person.

Quiet and comfortable

The staff were very welcoming. We were provided with whatever we needed throughout our stay. Beautiful views, right on Lake Superior. Very much enjoyed our stay!

Perfect mom and pop type vibes. This isn’t an over the top place with every amenity you can think of. This is the type of place that you want to bring your family to year after year. Best service by far. The people who work there actually care.

Rustic and friendly

This is a very old school, friendly place to stay in cabins and motel on the lake. The motel section is showing its age, and needs a refresh, but the staff is incredibly nice and the prices are very reasonable.

Friendly staff, could use some updates

Everything was exactly as described. Theresa who greeted us when we arrived was super friendly and made us feel welcome. Stayed in Motel #12, the room was cozy, had everything we needed, priced fairly. Loved the view of the lake. Appreciated the tv with a number of different channels. A few things made it look a little shabby/dirty and outdated (wall hanging, blinds on the front door), but otherwise, a good value for the money, and very cozy.
