By the time we arrived our check-in email from the Guesthouse still had not arrived in our email inbox. This email is the only way in to your room, as it holds the lockbox code which holds your key. "The room was small and basic but clean and had air conditioning, which was much appreciated given the heat while I was there. Getting to my room was a bit weird as I had to take the lift up one floor then go through the breakfast area and then take another lift up another four floors. The staff were polite but not overly friendly. They were slightly timid. The breakfast was outstanding, probably the highlight of my stay, along with the location. Very easy to get to and from the main train station and buses and shops and the river. Overall, a nice stay."
