"This is a nice clean room situated smack dab in the middle of Old Lyon with easy access to a plethora of bouchons, cafe's, boulangeries, restaurants, and anything else you want to eat. We found it very cozy and despite a slight language barrier we communicated very well with our very accomodating host, Sylvie, and her husband Joseph. "‘This is not a hotel’ is the first thing the hostess told us when she first called. The villa indeed is their own home and this is made very clear during our stay. The hostess treated our kids as a strict schoolteacher and to top it all off at the end of the evening also yelled upstairs that we were playing with the heating, which we were not. Offered extra rooms, after the sleeping arrangements were terrible, we were then threatened to be billed extra to VRBO, somehow...
