"Lovely old house, high ceilings etc Nice lounge Room was good apart from bathroom door didn’t close. Toilet flushing inconsistent Breakfasts very good with plenty of choice Lady owner very welcoming, sociable and helpful"

"Good clean room with a decent shower. Bed was a bit hard for our taste. Good bar area downstairs. Dinner was good and staff were very helpful and friendly."

"This was a great place to stay! The beds are comfortable and there’s a nice restaurant and bar downstairs. A bunch of musicians came in with fiddles, guitars and drums. They entertained us with songs and stories in the evening."

"Wayne was very accommodating. He greeted us on entering the driveway and offered us kickstand pucks to keep us from sinking in the gravel. He was very friendly and suggested places to go. Thank you."

"Staff during meals, especially breakfast when I was last one in, were awesome and so friendly. Two young ladies, one with baby due at Christmas, couldn’t have been more helpful. Lovely breakfast, lots of choice even at 9am. The lads on duty in the evening were also lovely, but service was rather slow even before coach full of Australians arrived."

"Beautiful place run by helpful, friendly people. For example, they don't mind if you call them with a question, no matter how obvious the answer is. They have a lovely restaurant there with fun and friendly staff. Also, be sure to tour the area - the Northern Highlands are stunningly beautiful. We had a great time."
