"Check in was easy and location was good, thise are the only positives. The property is extremely dated and dirty. The furnishings in communal areas were torn, threadbare, stained, dirty and smelly. There was mould on one of the bedroom walls. The kitchen cupboard fascias were peeling and the handles all...

"A little gem nestled in the countryside with glorious views. Lucy’s apartment was spotlessly clean and tidy, comfortable and very well equipped. Lucy is an absolute hoot- very welcoming and full of suggestions of things to see or do. Perfect for dogs too, with a lovely enclosed garden and lots of walks from the location detailed in the information folder. Lots of lovely pubs nearby too including a local just across the way. We would definitely come back."

Top Lydd Hotel Reviews

voco The Clifton Folkestone by IHG

10/10 Excellent

"The staff were super helpful and friendly and the hotel was lovely and in a great location for walking around and exploring Folkstone and the beach!"

A fabulous Grade II listed converted 14th Century pub. Child and pet friendly

10/10 Excellent

"Exactly what we wanted, ideal space indoor and out for our party of 14 staying and another 6 on the day of our party arriving for the day only. Superbly well stocked glasses, crockery, general kitchen equipment etc etc, unlike most which always seem to have some obvious items missing. A characterful building in a pleasant, unassuming small town with a fine church and good beer in the local pub."
