"This hotel wan beautiful and would have enjoyed and even longer stay. Right by port and airport and we're able to park our rental van without issue. Hotel was up to date and clean. Ate are the hotel restaurant on top floor with lovely views. Menu not extensive but everyone was able to find something good to eat and saved us the effort of going out. "

"Capsis Astoria is very conveniently located. It’s on the bus route to and from the airport so getting there is 1.20€. It’s also next door to the Heraklion archeological museum and on the bus route to Knossos. There are multiple restaurants nearby ranging from casual cafes to fine dining. We highly recommend Pemptos Ntore restaurant just across the way on the fifth floor. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating, letting us check in when we arrived at 11 am. The breakfast is substantial. We enjoyed sitting at the pool and having a drink. They have a small version of a Greek windmill on the roof. Very Instagram friendly. We recommend it highly."

"We had a fantastic two-week stay at Mitsis Rinela in summer 2024! From the moment we arrived, the experience exceeded our expectations. We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a room with access to a shared pool, which really elevated our holiday experience. The room was spotless and well-maintained throughout our stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. We especially enjoyed the evening entertainment—it added a lovely touch to our nights and created a great atmosphere around the resort. The dining options were another highlight. In addition to the main buffet, there were several à la carte restaurants offering a nice variety of cuisines. One thing to note is that these restaurants require advance booking. Unfortunately, we weren’t aware of this at first, so we missed the chance to use our full quota of reservations. It would have been helpful to get a heads-up about that upon arrival. Overall, though, Mitsis Rinela offered a beautiful and relaxing getaway with great amenities, top-notch service, and memorable moments. We would definitely love to return!"
