This holiday home for 4 people is located on the oldest polder of the Hoeksche Waard, the St. Anthonie polder, less than half an hour's drive from Rotterdam and Dordrecht. This unique, rural location makes it the ideal place for a holiday. The tranquillity and nature give you the feeling of being away for a while.
The house is a worker's house from the 1800's. After the house was declared uninhabitable in 1959, it was completely restored and remodelled in 2007. The house has been a municipal monument since 2013. You can sleep in the bedsteads in the old living area. There are two bedsteads, both suitable for 1 person per bed. In the modernised living room (former stable of the house) you have a beautiful view over the Sint-Anthonie polder. The bedroom on the upper floor can be reached via the red staircase and can accommodate 2 people.
If you are looking for a holiday in a peaceful environment, this place is ideal for you. There are many opportunities for walking and cycling in the area. On the other side of the dyke is the Binnenmaas, where you can swim.
