"An amazing, unique place to stay. It’s so remote and the views are incredible! The condors really do fly straight past the property - you wouldn’t even need to leave! Access can be tricky but very manageable - we booked a public bus from Arequipa to cabanaaconde and you have to tell the driver where you want to get off. The staff at La Granja came to pick us up from here. We booked through La Granja for a smaller minibus back to Arequipa which involved a few stops at viewpoints on the way home. A point to note - there isn’t really anywhere else to buy food or drink other than the restaurant (which is great) so factor this in to budgetting! It’s a 45min walk to La Cruz del condor and the walks in all directions from La granja are fantastic! Would definitely recommend and worth spending a couple of nights here to fully unwind and get to experience everything it has to offer. "

"The worst “hotel” imaginable. Staff have no idea what they’re doing. No wifi (i mean who needs wifi). I was told to be ready at 6 am sharp for transport to the city. It never came. The hotel reception said that in Peru when we say 6 am we really mean 7 am. Unbelievable. I only woke up at 5 am and was there 15 minutes early. I had to hitch a ride with another couple’s driver (pure luck) to get to the city, My driver is still probably on his way. The worst part is in my haste I left behind my hat. Don’t speak a word of English for those that don’t speak Spanish. Avoid this like the plague."

"Beautiful resort. Fun to walk around, beautiful views and Great rooms. The thermal baths were definitely a great thing to visit on the resort. A bit far, so eating options are limited but the restaurant is very good. I recommend this as part of your journey to the Colca Canyon"
