"Received code to access the building from owner/manager via what's app. On arrival, entered main door and no lighting whatsoever. The entrance had a horrible smell and musty sense. Needed to turn on lights ourselves. Tried to locate our unit when the lights went out. We got the heck out of there. Not impressed at all. Expedia will be refunding us our stay. We booked somewhere else at a much cleaner hotel"

"The Grand Hotel was an excellent place to stay.The staff was very helpful and friendly, it was very easy to walk to most places but the location is good for driving as well. The room was very clean and the atmosphere is amazing. It's our favorite place to stay in Campobasso!"

"I had the privilege of staying at La Tavernetta for 11 days this past July. It's an exceptionally well run family business where each family member contributes to the overall satisfaction of the guests. We were well received by all family members particularly Davide and Antonietta. The Hotel also has a restaurant and pool. The room was very clean and air conditioned. The pool area is very very nice. Davide is everywhere making sure that guests receive the best possible service. The food at the restaurant was exceptional. The breakfast was also very good. Antonietta is always present. The grounds are very well maintained. I will definitely return as we enjoyed our stay very much. My son loved it. It felt like we were visiting family. A big shout out to the Marinelli family. Only improvement would have been directions or signage on how to find the grand abode. Once found, parking was available right out front on the street, a safe street. "

"The staff were extremely nice and helpful. The wifi was very good. We had two devices which streamed at the same time with no problem. The food in the restaurant was delicious and filling. You will be asked a time for eating breakfast, I recommend being on time as the meal is prepared to be ready for eating at the time you specify. Lunch was always prepared to order and delicious. I hardly recommend the red wine with your meal. This is a quite place in a natural setting. Great for walks, relaxing and decompressing. "
