"Not often in life do you get to stay in a property of this quality in such a special location. The weather was almost perfect and we enjoyed two super weeks exploring Arco Da Calheta and Madeira. The pool and pool area at Casa Das Flores are amazing, we used the pool every day. The villa has everything you need come rain or shine. Access to walks and shops/bars from the door also a bonus. Our only critique was the noise from locals who appeared to be racing their cars at night near the property....

"The house is beautiful. The pool area is an amazing place to take in the views, sunsets and relax. The directions and accompanying literature provided by the host are very informative and answered all of our questions about using the house amenities. Highly recommend taking advantage of the bakery delivery truck that drives past every morning at ~9:15. There is a nespresso machine and drip/filter coffee maker for caffeine needs. If we’re ever back in Madeira, we will hope to stay here again....

"Our family of five stayed for five nights in March. The property was quite large, and accommodated our party easily. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with everything necessary to cook breakfast and simple meals during our stay. The TV and internet worked well. "The villa was clean , spacious and everything available for in home cooking . We loved the pool- good size . It also had a great view of the ocean and the airport in the distance . "The seafront location, a short walk away from a lovely little town with great restaurants, is just superb. However, once inside the house it is very disappointing. The house was obviously once wonderful but it now needs a great deal of work and was not up to our standards at all. The furnishings are old ikea, the linens and dishes are a mishmash and there was absolutely no basics other than toilet paper, and a little hand and dish soap. "I stayed here with two buddies, with the plan to do a bunch of hiking and have a cozy, spacious place to come back to every day, and this fit the bill perfectly. We loved the neighborhood, the view is incredible, the walk down to the city center is easy, and we felt right at home. Highly recommend staying here if you’re in Funchal!"

It was a perfect home for the bigger kids had a pool table and pool. Close to all, easy to access freeway. Garage parking for 3 cars was perfect. "Stayed in March/ April with partner and teenage son. We found the villa with no problem using Google Maps link provided and checked in easily. We were surprised at how big it is! There were only three of us, but it would be more than big enough for a family of six. We found it to be very well-equipped, with everything that we needed to enjoy our stay. The pool was lovely, and heated to a good temperature - the worst bit was getting out, particularly if it was a bit windy! Car hire is essential...

"Will be a good place when it will be finished. We were living in a construction site where noise was starting at 8am (or earlier) to finish at 8pm. The apartment was nice but not fully functional since AC was not connected. The apartment we had was made for 2 people as the sofa cannot be seriously considered as an extra bed (even for kids). The owner is always there to help."
