First stayed in Hotel Metropolitan Kawasaki in 2024, only knowing it was near the train station. Stayed again in 2025 knowing what I know now — and will certainly stay here again in the future. Clean , good service and great location

This was a well-maintained hotel with wonderful staff. The room itself was lovely and has great amenities. The 3 twin room was surprisingly spacious for 3 people. The on-premises restaurant was great too. The location is quiet and spacious which is a nice change from the surrounding metro area. It is literally next to a train station so transit is a breeze. My only real complaint is that the laundry facility was too small. There were often 2 hour lines of folks waiting to get loads...

Missing Keio Plaza already, and just thinking about an excuse to return to Tokyo. I was pleasantly surprised with the service level, cleanliness, willingness to assist from all staff. Even when there were lots of guests they managed to offer personal touches during service. I praise the hotel management and commitment from all employees we came across. 1 min. from the underground station and 1 stop to Haneda Airport terminal 3 . Very convenient for early flight , nice italian restaurant ang good food.

The best partsv were the breakfast buffet, the restaurant options and the proximity to transportation.

I was very happy with this hotel. It looked fancy on the inside and was only like an 8 minute walk from the Tachikawa metro station / 5 min cab ride with luggage. Rooms made the best use of their space, had nice amenities, and I had a nice view of the Tachikawa area. Also, lots of restaurants and shopping nearby! Very walkable.

Super comfy beds, lovely bathroom and amenities. Great service. Definitely recommend.

Far away from everything

The Hotel New Grand is a historical landmark in Yokohama. The location is hard to beat. It’s across the street from Yamashita Park, blocks from China Town, the International cruise terminal, 15 minute walk to Yokohama Stadium and good access to train system. Only down note is Hotel. Ew Grand needs to upgrade pillows, they were extremely uncomfortable.

It was an incredible stay that was only a 6 min walk to Tokyo station and an even closer walk for the Ginza line. There is a 24 hour 7/11 on the first floor that is very convenient to get a meal and even burn the change you have collected throughout the day. 10/10 will stay again

The hotel is reasonably close to the Haneda Airport and the free shuttle to the airport was great. Free shuttle also to Kawasaki Train Station where we found shopping. - nothing near the hotel. Kawasaki train connection was planned to get us to the Tokyo after 5 tour, It was the special assistance of the Kawasaki Railway staff that helped us to arrange the train timings as we did not speak Japanese - and very few people there spoke English! A fun time!!

everything about the hotel and the staff were exceptional. The only thing is I wished our room has more electrical outlets or the room provided an extension cord with multiple outlets. I have to plug and unplug between the coffee machine and the hot water kettle to use in between because there was only one outlet available.

Excellent location. Beautiful hotel right across from the upscale Mitsukoshi department store. Lots of dining options. Book it. You won’t regret staying there.

First time in Tokyo. Tried this hotel. 3 in the room. Liked everything about this hotel. Highly recommend.

Right next to the train station and Shinkansen if you need to catch that.

1# The staff were amazing and were on top of every question or concern I had. 2# location to major rail lines (for Tokyo and leaving Tokyo), bars, food and shopping. 3# Rooms were big for Tokyo and super functional.
