No motorized vehicles disrupt the tranquil atmosphere of this upscale residential area. The neighborhood's tree-lined paths offer a perfect escape from tourist crowds. Crystal-clear Lake Huron peeks through gaps in the mature maples while historic wooden porches creak gently in the breeze. "Upon arrival, staff arranged for luggage sent to wrong hotel from ferry with no fuss. Staff explained about hotel and gave pointers on the local area. Breakfast each morning was fresh and appropriate for the day (the coffee was especially good). Balcony was clean and very well maintained. Throughout the stay, can't say enough about entire staff and their helpfulness. Special mention of Sally and person who went and retrieved luggage from another hotel!"

8/10 Good
"Our cabin was wonderful. For the most part the room was in good repair, but overall the property needs a little TLC as a whole. Our housekeeper, Trev, made sure the room was clean, and the front desk was helpful in providing recommendations for restaurants and getting to the ferry. Parking was a bit interesting in front of the cabins. Would stay here again, especially with kids (they enjoyed the floorplan)."
