  • Each year in Macon, GA a festival bringing people in from surrounding area pops up for a week in early spring. The cherry blossom festival is a festival that most people have heard of, for I'm sure you have one near you. The one in Macon lasts a week an has carnival rides, strong man competitions, dog trick shows, mattress races, and many many more fun things to do all week. On the first Saturday of the festival a unique event happens that brings tens of thousands to just sit and watch. The balloon glow. Hot air balloons come in from all around and set up in the fields outside Macon state college. During the afternoon and into the evening you are able to pay $10 and go up for a short ride that will briefly give you the experience of a hot air balloon ride. But at night, that is when things light up. With a live band on stage these balloons light up the night sky as they rise and fall through the air. With over 20 balloons it is beautiful when they all go off at the same time. People cheer, horns blow, bands play, and everyone has a great time as these balloons shows each year.

Friendly and accomdating staff, room was clean and cleaning service was efficient and cleaned the room well. Lots of places to dine around the motel. Location is convenient, right off f the macon by pass.

We were doing an early overnight to break up the drive from Atlanta to Tampa. We are a family of 4. We will absolutely stay here again. It was clean, it was quiet and check in was quick.

I was thoroughly impressed with this hotel, super clean. Bed was comfortable, water pressure and water temps were great. I could go on and on about all the pros I had about this place. If I had to pick a con. It would have to be that the ice maker was out of order we didn’t need ice but we did see the sign that it was. Quite literally the ONLY bad thing about the stay. Would highly recommend this place.

Stayed for one night to break up a road trip.

The room was hot when we arrived—A/C wasn’t running and felt outdated. The toilet didn’t flush properly, which was inconvenient. That said, it was okay for just getting some rest. No extra hassle or high fees for having a pet, which we appreciated. Front desk staff were friendly and efficient.

The property was very dirty and unsafe feeling, the lobby had a safe room like they frequently get robbed, there are bright lights in the parking lot to prevent car theft but i still felt like my car might get stolen over night, the room itself was ok but the mattresses were stained and disgusting

Good value.

A good value. The room was clean. Freshly painted with no paint smell. Larger than normal refrigerator, small but adequate microwave. No coffee maker in the room or coffee in the lobby (The one time we didn't travel with a coffee maker). There's a Walmart very close by if you want a cheap coffee maker. Many close by places to eat. We will most likely stay here again in the future. No reason not too.

The staff were super nice but the place was filled with roaches I couldn’t leave ANYTHING out or leave the bathroom light off because when u walk in it’ll be a lot of roaches everywhere but other then that nice cheap place , couch could have washable covers tho I didn’t sit on the couch not once it was rlly nasty looking
