"We spent four nights at this property in late September - early October 2022. We drove from Lyon via Villefranche and Beaujeu, and arrived at the anticipated time. The directions provided by the owner were clear and precise, and we had no difficulty in finding the farmhouse. It is located in a small hamlet called Les Jacquets in Haut-Beaujolais, a few kilometres north-west of the village of Monsols in the Deux-Grosnes commune. "Nous sommes restés une semaine dans ce gîte plein de charme. Très bien équipé et fonctionnel, notamment en matériel de puériculture, ce qui a été très pratique avec nos trois filles de moins de 4 ans. Elles ont adoré passer du temps avec les chèvres, vaches, lapins, poules, oies et cochons d'Inde de la ferme : une excellente occupation pour des petites sorties ou par temps de pluie. Également de nombreux sentiers de randonnée dans les collines au départ du gîte, dans des jolis paysages ruraux et...

"Da es nur einen Holzofen für alle Räume gibt, ist die Temperatur zu dieser Jahreszeit nicht auf ein vernünftiges Neveau zu bringen. Insbesondere aber war die Sauberkeit mangelhaft. Alles war schmutzig und das Geschirr nicht nutzbar. Also, nicht zu empfehlen."

"To be frank, we were initially concerned that the gite might be too small but found this was absolutely not the case. There was ample room, the kitchen was completely furnished with everything one would need and more and the bed and furnishings were good. Bruno and Brigitte were the absolute perfects hosts and did much to make our stay enjoyable. We highly recommend this gite and hope we will be able to return in the future."
