Mactan Grand Golden Hotel near Airport

"I stayed at a couple of different places in Mactan. The Grand Golden Hotel will be my "goto" in the future. It's not fancy but is super clean and comfortable at a great price. It offers a wide variety of on premise services like a pool, gym, restaurant, spa and airport shuttle. Room amenities are limited to a few snacks. The staff was terrific. I loved the ambience and view from the roof-top restaurant. It's a great place to unwind right before or after a flight into Cebu. For longer stays, I would pick something else. It is close to the airport but not much else."

"Nice private dorm beds complete with power plugs and lights...the swimming pool is a nice surprise in this low price range...definitely very good value accommodation!"

"Friendly staff. Clean property. 2 of the 4 restaurants were closed. A staff mentioned it’s because it’s off season so they alternate restaurants due to low guests, so that was disappointing. However the food is good enough and you can always have food delivered or take a taxi to eat out."

"The best resort I have been to in Cebu. Impeccable service and everyone were very polite and courteous. They made me feel such a VIP from getting off the vehicle to checking in and throughout my entire stay. I would like to mention or call the attention of some of the employees: Eh la- Front office Filamer & Johndry ( Azure) Wendell- room service Claire- Saffron Johnny- Conceirge Merba- Housekeeping Kudos to everyone not mentioned especially the gardeners as well. I wished I could have stayed longer. I promise to return and bring guests with me."
