"Great place to stay! Rooms are spacious and very clean. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Good variety of choices on breakfast bar. Will be staying there again in the future."
Lakefront Luxury on Lake Manitou - Modern Comforts & Stunning Views
8/10 Good
"The property was a listed. We did miss several items in the kitchen that are usually provided in a vacation rental. The only communication issue we had was lack of information about how to access the home; we had to call a couple days before we were to arrive. After that, all questions were answered quickly via texts. This area has friendly neighbors who speak to you if you take walks!"
Wenopa - Charming 3-bedroom home on a Lake Manitou peninsula in Rochester
10/10 Excellent
"The piece of land was incredible and so family friendly! There was even games/ toys for children of all ages. The house was equipped with everything we needed including life jackets, paddle boats, a dock, COFFEE haha. Lots of small touches that were a huge plus for our family. We enjoyed using the campfire, swimming in the lake, and using the beautiful Blackstone grill that was provided as well. 10 out of 10. Lots of memories were made!"
"Christa, the lady buzzing around breakfast being super helpful and sweet provided excellent customer service every single morning!! Please clean the dust of the shelves in the breakfast area and clean the carpet stains in the halls. Room cleaning was adequate but not great. Breakfast is very basic ehh, not up to par for the expensive price of the hotel. Rooms are spacious. I liked the soft sheets and firm bed, but colleague complained that his was too hard."
New Construction 3 Bed/2 Bath Home on Beautiful Nyona Lake Sleeps 9 Pet Friendly
10/10 Excellent
"This place is perfect for family time! No need to overpack! Towels, games, multiple kayaks, pump to blow up your floats, ceramic dog bowls, marshmallow skewers, sand toys, fully stocked kitchen. I would suggest bringing a non stick skillet for eggs. House was clean and the beds comfortable. Caught several fish off the dock, including a 17 inch bass! My family really enjoyed our time and would definitely come back!"
"Pros:The property was clean inside with excellent accomodations. My friends enjoyed using the indoor patio with the coffee bar. We liked the amount of space and enjoyed using the smart TV to watch movies. The fridge is great. The beds were comfortable and the house was well decorated. We had a handful of bug friends who joined us, as the property warned. Overall, it was a good space for a weekend getaway. We enjoyed having our own space to use instead of hotel rooms.Cons:The outside needed cleaning from natural debris, algae growth, and spider-webs. We did not use the outside seating due to the unclean atmosphere. The A/C was not excellent, but we made do with the fans and open windows, as the outdoors were cooler. The master bathroom shower head fell off the base from the water pressure and would not stay on (it is meant to come off, but should stay on). I believe the shelving unit hanging on the shower head is too big and does not allow the shower head to sit snugly on the base as it should. I would remove it to prevent the shower head from falling again."
