"The hotel has a great location next to the Cathedral. Only problem is that it’s hard to get to with luggage, since cars & taxis can not get to the entrance. All the employees were helpful, talkative, and enjoyable. The free breakfast has a huge assortment of goodies and even hot items.. The one problem I do want to address is parking your car. When I reserved, it said parking available.. For some reason, I expected it nearby and free. The parking lot is a good 15 minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel does give you a small discount of the daily charge. But the problem is the car has to be moved every two days, take it out of the lot go around the block and put it back in. Because we were there for five nights it was a real pain to walk back-and-forth, even though we did not need the car while we were there. The way it was addressed was very confusing with the tickets to get the discount. It took away from the enjoyment of our first days in Madeira Portugal."
